A personal prayer coach

One prayer, then the next.

Qadam is the most complete prayer app there is. Accurate times, Qibla, tracking that tells the truth, and a personal coach that helps you build toward all five daily prayers, one focus at a time, starting from wherever you are today. Insha’Allah, you’ll get there.

The coach

Starts from the prayers you already keep. Then suggests one.

Tell Qadam which prayers you already pray. Those are yours from day one, and nobody starts at zero. The coach then suggests one prayer to focus on, usually the easiest first, as this week’s milestone on the way to all five. It’s a suggestion, not a ruling: all five are loggable from the start.

Banked from day one

Prayers you already keep count from the start. The ladder begins at the first one you don’t.

02

Offered, never automatic

When the focus prayer holds about 6 days in 7 for about two weeks, the coach offers the next step. You decide whether to take it.

03

Misses never slow the pace

A missed prayer never pushes the plan back. There is no single falling score, nothing turns red, and no headline is written to shame you.

04

Coming back

After 5 or more days away, your first log opens a comeback card and offers a recovery week. You say whether it was lazy or life fell apart. The app never guesses.

How it talks

Like a friend who got prayer back, one at a time.

Short, specific, and in your own numbers. It counts in plain figures, 7 in 10 rather than a percentage, and it never lectures.

Qadamnow

Hey. Maghrib time, 6:44 PM. You said before I sit down to eat.

Prayed

Every reminder carries a Prayed button. On iPhone it opens Qadam and logs the prayer. On Android it logs in the background. With a live plan, the focus prayer’s reminder carries your own words back to you.

33 prayers this week. Most you’ve ever done.

After a big week

Fajr slips on weekdays. Pin it to something you already do.

When a pattern shows

Nothing for ʿIshāʾ yesterday. Today at 8:02 PM, we go again.

The day after a miss

Hey. It’s been a while, and everything you logged is here. What was this stretch?

After time away

Every prayer daily, locked in. I’m watching, not asking.

When all five hold

Fajr doesn’t need me anymore. It’s yours.

When a prayer becomes yours

All 5, daily, on your own. That’s the whole thing done.

At the end

Every line is written by a person. The coach is a rules-based engine that runs on your phone. Nothing is generated, and hundreds of hours went into deciding what it says, when, and when it stays quiet.

The app

Everything the app does. Tap through it.

Four tabs: Today, Progress, Coach and Settings. Qibla lives on Today. Every screen here is the real app.

TodayEach prayer, with its window

Every prayer shows its time and how long is left in the window. Mark prayed is one tap. The Hijri date turns at Maghrib, and Qibla sits in the corner, tap to expand.

Times you can trust

Prayer times are computed on your phone, so they work offline and your location never reaches Qadam’s servers.

Our promise

Your worship is between you and Allah. Not between you and an ad network.

No ads. Ever.

No banners before Fajr, no interstitials after Isha. Nothing stands between you and your prayer.

Nothing sold, nothing shared

Your prayer log is not a product, and neither are you. No selling of data, no tracking across other apps or websites.

Your record stays on your phone

By default nothing leaves it and no account is needed. If you turn on backup, your record is encrypted on the phone with a six-word phrase first. Our server only ever holds ciphertext.

Works offline

Prayer times, Qibla and the coach all run on-device. Your location never reaches Qadam’s servers.

The name

Qadam means a step, and the foot that takes it.

The root ق د م runs through the Arabic words for moving forward: qaddama, to put forward; taqaddum, progress; qādim, what comes next. The name is the unit, not the distance. One step, then the next.

Pricing

The app is free. The coach is Premium.

Questions

Asked often.

Is the coach AI?

No. We don’t believe your prayer data should be uploaded to a model so it can hand you feedback no human can verify. Even with every guardrail in place, you can never fully know what it will say back. That didn’t feel appropriate for something this personal, so we haven’t gone down that road.

Do I need an account?

Not for the free app. You need one to start the coach trial and to turn on backup.

What about days I’m exempt?

Mark the day exempt from Today or from Progress. Those days aren’t counted and aren’t owed. No screen asks why, and exemption is never behind the paywall.

What if I stop for a while?

Everything you logged stays. After 5 or more days, your first log back opens a comeback card and offers a recovery week. You tell the coach what the stretch was, not the other way round.

Get the app

Insha’Allah, you’ll get there.

The best prayer tracker and the best prayer coach, in one app. Qadam launches on the App Store and Google Play in January 2027. Start with the prayers you already keep, and write to us any time.
